Tradition
When tradition is meaningful, it can be very comforting. Just like our God who doesn't change, sometimes we want something from our past that hasn't changed--as in a litany or piece of liturgy. That's not to say that the new can't be just as wonderful, meaningful, and timeless. Just don't throw out the baby with the bath water!
