Knowing God
Dan 11:32.They that know thier God, shall be strong and do exploits. in knowing God, we have to get closer to Him, have a relationship with him, like Adam and Eve. the bible says and Adam knew his wife; it means they were so close, they had a relationship, that nothing could separate them. i believe every believer should come to that point, where we would have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, such that nothing would separate us from him. As we all know, relationship or closeness is one of the vital things that binds husband and wife together, even in times of misunderstanding. In the same way, a closer relationship could bind the believer and the Holy Spirit together.
when we have a relationship with the holy spirit, it makes us love him the more, cheerish him and appreciate him. we never want to be without him, always want to be close to him, discussing and taking plans. that is the point God wants every believer to get to, where we can chat and have that intimate relationship with His Holy Spirit, so close that nothing will separate the two.
the holy spirit is a person, therefore he also needs attention and care. he needs our friendship, he needs us to show him him love and affection. let us not ignore him in anything we do. for we bear needless pains, because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
if we ignore him, our burdens become so heavy that we cannot carry, but if we do not, he carries our burdens and makes it light.
beloved, let us draw close to God, and let the whole world know the kind of friendship we have with him. for the world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. let us arise and re-build our relationship with God.Amen

The Paul Langford Project

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers.
