Fits & Starts Productions, LLC Expands Audio Offerings to Include Church Workshops Six H.O.W.-ToT Audio Workshops Scheduled This Summer - Twenty More Planned for '04-'05.

Tinton Falls, NJ May 2004

Fits & Starts Productions, LLC, the nation's leading provider of audio seminars and workshops has expanded its offerings to include a new series of church production workshops. Dubbed the H.O.W.-ToT Tour, and scheduled to begin June 5, 2004, the workshops are dedicated to the worship audio volunteer who serves by operating the sound systems in their place of worship. The workshops feature a full day of audio training in a hands-on setting at a local venue, so that volunteers do not have to travel costly distances. The workshop program includes introductory and advanced training in microphones, consoles, speakers, amplifiers, signal processors and mixing and recording techniques.

Six sites are scheduled in six states: Arkansas, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, South Carolina and Virginia. Many of the sites also offer the workshops as part of their Adult Continuing Education programs, so that participants can gain credit from the workshops.

The 8-hour workshops feature well-known audio engineer Mike Sokol as the lead instructor, and build upon the history of the Fits & Starts Productions, LLC audio series, recognized for its ground-breaking surround sound tours where nearly 300 seminars have been conducted in the past five years.
