Most should keep their focus on what they do best on the field or the court. Not so with Ben Utecht. This guy is not only a gifted athlete but a gifted musician and songwriter with a heart for worship that is seen clearly in his music. Not only does he have a great voice but his music is equally appealing for worship and personal encouragement.
Ben Utecht... His name may sound familiar, but not in Christian music. Ben is a football player by trade, but a follower of Jesus by desire. Currently the starting tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals, this Super Bowl winning player is known for his faith both on and off the field. Ben's debut album introduces him as a singer and as a musician to the world. Full of passion, depth, and an insight to the struggles of faith and life, his songs provoke an honesty and sensitivity that tap directly into the heart strings of our relationship to Christ.
