Question
Your article has been very helpful. It has answered a lot of my questions.

I guess I tend to feel guilty saying no to someone who wants to join the praise team, but that really doesn't know how to sing. I don't want to discourage them.

However, I do have a question:
We have some singers in our praise team who really can't sing. How do I go about getting them off the team. Would you recomend an audition where everyone has to try out?

My other question is: What do I do about singers who want to ad lib? There are some singers who love to ad lib - they love to be expressive in their worship. Then, there are other singers who don't like to hear each other ad lib because they feel it's distractive.

helpful
This was a helpful article.
But, how does one go about determining if someone is called to the ministry of worship if they tell you it is so? Fruit?
I have seen God use people who were not called, and produce fruit by His work through them.
