Nashville, TN, Aug. 17, 2004 -- After setting the standard for global worship/rock anthems, celebrated rock group Delirious? was brought to Greece by the Cultural Committee of Athens to headline an event Aug. 14 during the Olympic celebrations at the Omonia Square in Athens. Featuring representatives from 202 countries, the Olympic Games are the World's most prestigious sporting event, watched by a global TV audience.

"We want to go wherever people resonate with the anthemic worship of their Creator; and that is the world over," says Delirious? frontman Martin Smith. "Our music and our hope are not indigenous to any one country."

UK-based Delirious? members have traveled to the far reaches of the globe performing in countries from Sweden to Australia to Germany to South Africa to the U.S., and everywhere they travel people respond to their music.
